When I was a little kid, I had the tendency to let my imagination run wild. I was prone to getting swept up in flights of fancy that would affect the way that I perceived the world around me. Car rides would become space shuttle missions, trips to the store would transform into treasure hunts, and baths would turn into deep sea explorations that ended with the discovery of a giant soapy sea monster that looked exactly like me.
Now that I’m older, I no longer look at myself and see a giant sea monster—unless, of course, it’s Halloween. These days I view myself as a web designer and developer. I’m drawn to working with web and interactive media because it makes me feel like a kid again. I love the feeling that I get when I imagine something and put in the work to make it a reality.
